In the following code, I try to search over different hyper-parameters of xgboost.

Even though I use kvargs={tree_method':'gpu_hist'}
, I get no speedup in the implementation. According to the nvidia-smi
, the GPU is not much involved in the computation:

I have installed the GPU supported xgboost using the following commands in Ubuntu:
$ git clone --recursive https://github.com/dmlc/xgboost
$ mkdir build
$ cd build
$ cmake .. -DUSE_CUDA=ON

What is the possible reason?
