Sadaqah
Sadaqah or sadqah (Arabic: صدقة IPA: [sˤɑdæqɐ],* "charity", "benevolence", plural ṣadaqāt صدقات) in the modern Islamic context has come to signify "voluntary charity". According to the Quran, the word means a voluntary offering, whose amount is at the will of the benefactor.
