Phoenicopteriformes /fiːnɪˈkɒptərɪfɔːrmiːz/ is a group of water birds which comprises flamingos and their extinct relatives. Flamingos (Phoenicopteriformes) and the closely related grebes (Podicipedidae) are contained in the parent clade Mirandornithes.
