Jan Appel
Jan Appel (pseudonyms: Max Hempel, Jan Arndt, Jan Voß; 22 August 1890 – 4 May 1985) was a German revolutionary who participated in the German Revolution of 1918. He became a prominent Left Communist activist and theorist.
