I am Managing Director of Datypic, a contract software development company. I have extensive experience as a consultant, software architect, developer, and data architect, specializing mainly in XML-related technologies and Java.

I was a member of the W3C XML Schema Working Group, where I served as an Invited Expert. I am the author of Definitive XML Schema (Prentice Hall PTR, 2001), and XQuery (O'Reilly Media, 2007).
