Ever since I was the four-year-old spending hours in his room building Legos, I've been known independent, detail-oriented, and a self-starter. These traits were no different when I discovered programming in high school, and they are no different now; I love to learn and take whatever opportunities I can to gain new skills and put them to practice.

Same goes for the workplace. As a student worker and then IT Support Technician at Harrisburg Area Community College, I've constantly sought to use my programming skills to benefit my department by developing, for example, new scripts and applications to assist with common network tasks and student troubleshooting - many of which are utilized daily by the department.

Beyond my career, I have led in many venues such as teaching homeschool Sr. High courses, running Leadership Trainings events, counseling at summer camps, and teaching at my local church. In these and many other areas, I seek to help others around me in whatever ways I can.
