As an employee of EnergyCAP, Inc. for nearly 14 years, I've had the privilege to lead both IT and development. Most recently, I have been spearheading a team tasked with bringing the power of BI to staff and clients through industry leading DevOps practices. My mission in this role is to provide the confidence and freedom to explore data in new and tangible ways.
My love for technology began with the first exposure to the family TRS-80 (when I hacked an ending to "Lost Dutchman's Gold" on a bootleg cassette tape copy). Since then, I have worked in at least 12 languages, managed every major operating system in the last 20 years, and built a successful SaaS solution for thousands of clients.
When I'm not creating solutions, I greatly enjoy the opportunity to teach and encourage others within the technology community. I have taught technology in various venues over the last 18 years, from a small private K-12 school to large staff training at Penn State University.

He has been working with SQL Server since 2004, supporting an international client base and a thriving SaaS application that hosts thousands of users. He’s at the top of his game when he's learning something new about the data platform or teaching others about the technology he loves.
