As a mechanical designer I work with the CAD-Software CATIA V5 in which stuff can be automated through the use of VBA and VBScript.
As the only employee in our company that works with CATIA, I've taken upon myself the task of automating as many repetitive tasks as possible. As someone whom's only coding experience is making a counting game on a CASIO graphic calculator almost 10 years ago, this can be quite the challenge.
