I don't have any formal training in computer programming or comp sci: While my day job is focused on helping to develop an assay diagnostic platform and the assays to run on the platform, I typically find ways to enhance my work with a bit of code. While coding started out as a minor hobby years ago on the TI-84, I now commonly find myself on stack exchange and other sites attempting to develop this hobby into a skill over time. It has shaped my original educational path to focus more on computers and led me to my current background in chemistry and biostastics.

I'm an avid music fan and my display name is a reference to Vinnie Colautia's "Attack of the 20lbpizza". When my schedule permits I also find rock climbing to be a great hobby.
