I am a polyglot developer with many years of professional experience, starting with C – embedded, through to C++ on DOS and Windows, to C#, Web technologies and presently Java.

I have worked on various projects, which include delivering smart card, loyalty scheme and electronic cash system solutions for Boots; Sainsbury’s and Mondex (MasterCard) International respectively.

I also worked on ICL/Fujitsu’s Pathway project that computerised all 19,000 post offices in the United Kingdom. Recently, I worked for both Fujitsu and British Telecom on the £12.4b IT programme designed to modernise computer systems in the National Health Service (NHS), in addition to providing every patient with an electronic health record.
