I work in IT and my hobby, or at least one of them is IT, promotion took me away from the bleeding edge and so I spend my spare time trying to catch up with what I've forgotten and what I missed. I'm particularly interested in social networks though much of that has been from a user perspective, either an end user or a site admin. I'm also into spaceships, electric cars and synthesisers. I run a website for BuddyPress users aimed at newbies just starting out.

I've very recently got into coding and I'm loving the way WordPress works and the extent of the community support. I think I've got a long way to go before I call myself a coder really but I am in the least getting there, little by little.
