My hobby is creative writing; the arts, visual, written, and otherwise, are my passion--especially combining them with engineering.
I began my career in web development because I undertook a free-time project that really drove me. More significantly, coding is the funnest thing I've done for which I was really well paid. It is a creative exploit, and therefore I throw myself into it headlong. We devs and engineers have an awesome career.
My passions at work are blazing fast, maintainable code. Also, I love front-end graphical stuff, such as Babylon JS, D3, new charting or graphical libs. In my free time, I'm into natural-language processing. I want to create the best interactive story system, which carries me into Logical AI. I am a long-time user of SO, and have a good start as a contributor.
Please see my profile for my primary skills. I'm often adding new skills.
I got my BA (in English) in 2003 at the University of Texas in my hometown of Austin, Texas. I got my MFA in Creative Writing, fiction, in 2010 at New Mexico State University, in Las Cruces, NM.
