Hi!

My name is Gijs, 37yrs of age, living in the south of the Netherlands close to Breda and Tilburg.

Currently I am working as a Business Intelligence Consultant.

In my spare time if the weather is good I like to go outdoors, if the weather is not so good I like to code and mess around untill late at night :)

I am using Python more and more for analytics, to extact data from webservices and build small applications to make my and my colleagues work easier.

Of course I also use SQL and I use DAX and M because I am mainly working with Power BI as my front-end visualization tool.

Several years ago I was a Financial Analyst. Slowly I have been moving over to Business Intelligence and at the start of this year I was able to land a job as a BI consultant.

Now working hard on expanding my skill set and teaching others what I have learned so far.
