Just back from 4 years in the UK. I did not get hired as a programmer over there. I wound up in mixed admin work, lots of compliance. So now I'm trying to decide if programming is again a good direction. Honestly, I'm probably a manager-type more than a diligent programmer. I love talking about programs, but I like the odd political battle where you prove to the boss that they aren't asking for something easy.
