I received a PhD in computer science from Bern University in Switzerland. I worked for KPN Research, European Telecommunications Standard Institute, Planet Internet, KPN Hotspots and KPN Business Market.

In 2010 I started my own company Real Thinks - an independent App Studio -, because I am convinced that there are enormous opportunities in the new-born App industry. (About 100 years ago Samuel Goldwyn, Louis B. Mayer, and the Warner brothers started Movie Studios, and they still exist today! Timing is everything ;-)

Examples of Apps we have released so far are FigureRunning (fun, social sports), PadVinder (walking App, with built-in PathStore), Scrolly (family, photo fun with built-in PuzzleStore), 6MWT (healthcare) and an Exercise App for stroke patients.

Since 2014 I am part-time a professor, teaching computer science and doing research at the University of Applied Sciences in Rotterdam.
