For back-end, I like to use GraphQL or Express, if I am building Rest API. I use Typescript for my APIs, that allows easier debugging and precise type definition for response objects.

I strive to develop apps with readable code base following best practices. I like to use ESLint or TSLint to keep my code clean and readable.
