Scientist who is rapidly becoming an informatician currently trying to bridge the gap between bioinformatics and laboratory science. I'm getting bioinformatic data manipulated in windows based office environments and developing small tools to help that happen. As not everyone wants to learn command line I'm also dabbling with GUI interfaces using pyQT to make things easier. Took a Coursera Interactive Python Course a year ago in my own time and it's been well worth it!
