My name is Marion Owen and I decided to start cataloging my progress and findings with Web Development and Web Design. I consider myself a junior web developer who stumbled upon a web job in Atlanta after rotating between internship and school. I graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Ga with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering in 2010. I took a liking to technical design and programing. My course and project work included C#, VHDL, assembly, and bit level coding along with circuit design. I’ve been doing amateur web development for the past 3 years, but haven’t produced anything really usable until the past year. I’ve been increasing my scope of knowledge for web design and development at work as well as with my clients.

I currently work for an organization in Atlanta, Ga called The Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO). The explanation of what we do is too long-winded for me to write here, so check out our “About us” page. We use SharePoint for our intranet as well as our external site.

I started a web design/development firm in 2010 as a side project. I offer web design and development for small and medium-sized businesses as well as individuals. My company is based out of Atlanta, Georgia but I have a few clients from out of state.
