I've worked in the computer industry for more than 30 years. I started my career doing data entry by punching cards. I've done many support jobs, like printer support, tape librarian, micro-fiche producer, tape jockey, operator and that was all before I graduated from college.

Most of my career has been spent at IBM, where I started in MVS kernel development. I worked in mainframe operating system development for about 10 years, where I then moved on to WebSphere development. For the past few years, I've been focused on WAS virtualization and WAS cloud initiatives, including leading the runtime for Bluemix.
