Customer service is of paramount importance me, I'm very well trained; from hair raising experiences as the friendly barkeep in a Gentlemen’s club, to five years at NHS24, taking emergency GP & Ambulance calls. I thrive as part of a busy team & challenging environment, whilst also enjoying working autonomously on projects.

Joining the vast world of Oil Services in 2007, my initial role was as keen Desktop Support for SMEs; seven years of contracting and career development, culminating in my last permanent position as an Infrastructure & Project Engineer for a major US Aerospace company.

My technical experience focuses on supporting multiple Microsoft platforms, from Server 2003 – 2012, Exchange 2007 & 2010, IIS to EMC & NetApp Datacentre Storage technologies. Extensive in supporting VMWare/Hyper-V/XenServer. Skilled in SCCM & SCOM, VB scripting & Powershell. I strongly believe in automation & orchestration.

On a personal level, I am an enthusiastic father to my baby daughter, while finding time to enjoy being creative & sociable, writing music & singing in a 70's rock band, as well as web developing & inventing the next electronic/digital consumable!
