Once a liberal arts student successfully self-taught in the arts of coding and devops practices. Main languages are Java/Kotlin, mostly with Spring Framework. Also can do stuff in Python, Bash and cook/profile some SQL queries.
I still love learning new stuff for fun and profit.
The previous description will be retained for historical purposes.
Coding is not my main job responsibility, but I try to learn/imporve. In these three years it slowly became a significant part of the job, so I'm continuing to learn!
Areas of interest:
- R / Rstudio / Shiny - mostly for visualisations now and exploratory data analysis
- Python - as a tool for general shell scripting and ML experience with IPython notebooks.
- Java - as a main programming tool at work
- Groovy - as a main data processing tool at work
- MySQL - the basics
- bash & shell scripting in general - but mostly switched to Python.
