Java developer looking to get some experience in Rust development. Interested in Systems programming to add to my portfolio.

Experienced in REST, and web applications in general. I like some of the basic web functionality of the Spring Framework for HTTP APIs but prefer to use AJAX calls rather than any form of XSLT or JSF/JSP. Servers shouldn't be doing rendering when you have perfectly good clients to do that for you.

I love maintaining and developing Linux servers and instances. I have experience in Suse and Redhat linux but I prefer Debian based operating systems.

I prefer Vim and sublime text for most things but I still use Eclipse for a lot of Java stuff.
