I'm an informatic science student at the Università di Bologna. I love everything about Unix, the free software world and the hacker culture. Arch Linux is my distro of choice.
I'm quite good at java, php+sql+javascript+html+css, c++, lisp; lately I've fallen in love with scala. I usually code in a deeply custumized and ever improving emacs environment (I do love the power of elisp, but vim-like keybinds are definitely a must) in a test-driven, version controlled development style.
My other hobbies are reading, videogames, hicking with my girlfriend and photography (I'm also good at photo editing btw). I'm an orange belt in Kick Jitsu (a competitive discipline mixing Kick Boxing, Ju Jitsu and Judo) and I competed in some national-level tournament. I played for several year the medieval drum and I took part in several medieval reenactment which culminated every year in a drum competition involving two hundreds of young reenacters.
