I have a passion for designing, developing and maintaining high quality software products. I have developed systems using a number of different design methodologies and programming languages for Windows, web and mobile. I enjoy working with and managing development teams. I find working with and mentoring junior developers very rewarding.

My wife and I run a home based business working along side Forver Living Products. We introduced the high quality, natural product range to my wife's mobile hairdressing client base. Our business has grown from there and we now have a small team of people we work with who are building their own businesses.

I developed and maintain the website for my wife’s business using SEO and Google Analytics to keep the site in google's top 20 search results. I have worked with people in the SME sector to build websites, including SEO, when starting their own businesses and I maintain the website for my Krav Maga group.

I wrote and self-published a manual called uniPaaS 1.X Source and Product Management with Visual SourceSafe 2005 to the Magic Software community under the pseudonym Ashley Anderson.

I am currently developing a mobile app for greeting cards company.

I enjoy keeping fit by using the gym regularly, practicing Krav Maga, running, cycling and playing golf. I completed the London Marathon in 2009 and the Berlin Marathon in 2012 raising over £3000 for the charity Whizz-Kidz. Big sports fan including rugby union and football. Book reader, predominantly business and self-help books and I love spending time with my young family.

In conclusion I am a very experienced passionate senior software engineer. I enjoy working with and managing software development teams. I am self-starter always keen to learn and experience new things as self-development is important to me. My goals are to keep learning and improving in everything I do.
