Update: I am a 81 year old retired Visual Basic 6 Developer. I started in 1964 as a mainframe computer operator and finally got into Visual Basic 6 programming in 2000 after I retired. I like to dabble with webpages and am trying to allow everyone to view my results. I have a working javascript version but now I am trying to convert that into aspx and aspx.vb but no one understands my question about displaying a html table in the current page. When I select the menu to run the program to display the table, it goes to a new window and the menus are on the previous page. I have been on 3 different web sites and no one knows what I am talking about. I have changed to iframes from frames and now I found the fixed top menus with CSS code and that works great. I need to keep th I have completedmy project in javascri[e reports in the iframe but I haven't been able to figure out how to code to insert the different functions. I am using the javascript functions from the old code until I can use vb.net. I have to get the code for iframes first before I convert to aspx. This is just for my amusement as well as a learning tool to learn different ways to make webpages. Lately, I have used iFrames, VBScript, Javascript, ASP pages, asp.net, vb.net, databases to save visitor's info. I used a text file to store user's information if I ever get to that point. I just want to see it on the Internet for others to enjoy. It is a guide for astronomers to locate not easy to see objects by finding visible objects and adjusting their scopes according to the data displayed. It is menu driven and displays documents for clarity and instructions. I have my project on my localhost with IIS 10 but I am unable to show it to the world. If you live nearby, I could use some help. Update: I am an 81 year old javascript/canvas programmer this time as I made great progress in the last few years and thanks to this website, I have learned a lot to help my progress. I am trying to convert vb66 code torun in javascript/canvas mode but the code is so immense that I may have to settle for a makeshif version in js/canvas. I am trying to duplicate vb code but there are so many twists and turns to code in my new language that I might give it up. The current version uses iframes and the reports display on the lower part of the screen and the menu is on the top of the screen.
