As a wise man said, Data are becoming the raw material of business. Data excites me and Analytics drives me. Open Source products have always been my motivation. Having said this, it was a natural choice for me to get into the world of Big Data.

I have a good track record of working with several high profile companies like Intel, Yahoo, Apple and with clients from Telecom, Banking, Healthcare, Food and Beverage, and Manufacturing industries. I have won several awards at all organizations I have worked for.

I lead the Asia Pacific Team for the “Big Data – Solution Enablement Organization” (was Professional Services Team earlier). I wear two hats as part of my current role 1) Technical Stuff (All Operations stuff under the Hadoop Eco System and Linux) 2) Engage in Presales activities, working with partners and sales teams (in APAC) to find new customers and opportunities with existing customers.
