Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Manuel is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Nativo. He was most recently managing the software development department at YDreams and in the past years he has been working in computer vision and data mining. Before joining YDreams in 2002 he worked as a researcher in the Environmental Engineering field having finished his PhD in 2003 with a strong emphasis in distributed processing. As a researcher he published several papers in international peer reviewed Journals of engineering and mathematics.
