I'm a trained mechanical engineer with experience in automotive production, process and project management, quality, problem solving and software development.

I have written software packages and applications for

• process simulation,
• statistical analyses of product and process data,
• distributed computing

in languages like Pascal, Modula-2, R, Python, Julia. Currently I'm developing in Julia: Actors and DiscreteEvents

I'm interested and experienced in large scale discrete event simulation, concurrent and distributed computing, modern programming languages and in learning new things.
