I went to school to be a COBOL programmer this was back in the mid-80's never got a job doing such. I'm still in the IT industry as a mainframe computer professional.

I picked up PHP a few years back just to keep some sort of programming skills. I learn best by examples and doing. I really wish this stuff was around when I went to college. I could have been a formidable weapon!
