As a professional artist (painter/printmaker) one needs a second career to survive. A lucky coincidence had me work as the GDS Analyst for American Airlines (Galileo, Amadeus, Worldspan and Sabre). My interest in best practices and simple lean code lead me down the path of becoming a Front End Web Developer - focusing on creating compliant, user-friendly, clean websites. After a few years as a college lecturer, I became a UI Developer for several agencies working on fortunate 500 company websites. In my most recent role as digital strategy manager, I lead a small team to produce user tests to increase conversions, develop seo and social media marketing strategies, optimizing websites for findability, and working on my client's online reputation.
