I am a seasoned software engineer and agnostic technologist, who has been developing distributed systems and applications for over 15 years. Although I am more focused on building scalable and resilient backend services (aka. microservices), I collaborate and have a hands-on over the full stack.

For any organization, ultimately what matters are the business goals and the overall user experience – may we never lose sight of those. I believe that application logs, metrics, and data analytics are powerful tools that can help organizations track and achieve their goals.

It’s also important to remember that reliability, security, and performance are user features. I write code that is secure, maintainable, testable, and monitorable. But above all else, the code should solve the problem at hand effectively and on time. To accomplish this I work across the entire application development lifecycle: from design and implementation to production release, monitoring, and support.
