I'm a 25+ year developer, starting with dBASE III in 1985. I've progressed through all xBASE dialects (FoxBASE; FoxPro; Clipper S'87, 5.x), then Delphi (1.0 16-bit, 2.x, 3.x, 4.x), concurrently with VB5/VB6 and finally onto VB.NET 1.1-4.5.

Also beginning 1994, started working with SQL Server 4.2 and have written numerous ETL processes and ton's of other T-SQL scripts.

Currently working on two major applications that were originally written in VB.NET 2.0. I've upgraded them both to .NET 4.5 and have also completely replaced one of the third-party components that comprised 98% of all control components used.
