I am a full time senior corporate level independent IT consultant, who specialises in helping growing businesses with the creation, adaptation, or updating of existing IT infrastructure planning and central IT strategy plans, as well as working with individual departments and stakeholders.
Over the past 15 years, I have worked right across the IT industry, from designing and developing websites, desktop applications, and mobile apps, to corporate IT infrastructure planning, and everything in between.
As with most truly independent consultants, I am always happy to look at working with new clients, if they are looking to work with a highly experienced professional, who can manage the delivery of the entire corporate IT plan, including the running the project management aspects of any plans which need to be implemented, or scheduled for implementation post-departure.
In a personal capacity, I have taught basic IT skills to a wide range of disadvantaged and groups of people who would normally have a great deal of difficultly learning to use their computer, notebook, or laptop on their own. This has included time working with homeless people who have drug and alcohol problems, visually impaired users who have a range of vision from nearly perfect to absolutely none, and I have also been very fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to work with a wide range of charities, some of which now enjoy regular interviews on the BBC and very close ties with the local press and radio stations.
As with everyone though, from time to time, I do get stuck, and ask for some help and advice from other people in the community. If you'd like me to help you on a personal level, or help your business to improve or create their IT strategy document, or planning for the next x years of your IT budget, then drop me an email or visit my website. I am very flexible, and happy to work within pretty much most budgets.
