As a self-appointed millennial team captain, I want to change the world, for the better, through design, education and progressive activism.

I've had a long, windy road through my college and professional career. After failing out of college twice, I returned to Visual Communication Design at Northern Kentucky University. My education there, within the VCD program, and opportunities at NKU as a whole, led me down a pathway of art and technology that would eventually become a foundation for UI/UX/Digital Product Design and Front-End Development.

From 2008-2019, I focused on the marketing and advertising world of the Greater Cincinnati Area. I worked at many great companies during that time including Bluestone Creative, Traction, Powerhouse, Everything But The House, Procter & Gamble and many others while freelancing.

In 2019, NKU posted a Professor of Practice position within the VCD program; the same program I had already adjuncted within since 2016. After accepting the role, I switched focus to teaching HTML/CSS, print production, interaction design, and the basics of visual communication design while supplementing my income with freelance work. In 2020, as COVID hit, we moved all classes online with the help of an agile team of faculty and staff who made it all work. I am proud and grateful for my time at NKU.

In 2022, I returned the world of marketing and advertising to better focus on my family and continue evolving my skillset. At Madison Design I've been charged with helping evolve their very talented marketing, advertising and branding agency with my digital skillset. I look forward to our continued success in 2023.
