Co-Chair OMG Data-Distribution SIG, CTO at Real-Time Innovations

I work at Real-Time Innovations, a company that specializes software for distributed systems, specially systems with significant requirements in terms of scalability, performance, or robustness. In recent years my work has focused around the OMG Data-Distribution Service Standard (DDS). I co-authored this OMG specification back in 2004 with Virginie Watine from THALES, and also the sister Data-Distribution Service Interoperability Wire Protocol Standard (DDS-RTPS) with Carlo Cloet from CNH. I founded and now co-chair the OMG Data Distribution SIG which is responsible for this technology, and in the last few years helped develop 5 more related specifications: UML Profile for DDS, DDS Extensible Types, DDS for light-weight CCM, DDS ISO/C++ PSM and DDS Java 5+ PSM.
