I taught myself Basic on the Apple II when I was a child. When I was in college, I was a co-founder of the web design group. This a group that taught others HTML and web development. I know HMTL very well still. I know enough JavaScript, CSS, and PHP too make edits to code and tweaked the code of a job board I had built and owned many years ago. I have also had Joomla and WordPress sites.

Recently, I thought it would be fun to get back into programming and I have a bunch of ideas for iOS apps, so I am learning Swift. I am taking a couple courses through Udemy and studying on YouTube and bought several books (new ones that include xCode and SwiftUI and Swift 5.5. I may be coming here for help fairly often.

Professionally, I am a recruiter.

I do this by connecting the right people with the right positions based upon culture, passion, and skills. I do this with open, transparent, and consistent communication. I do this by coming up with ways to revolutionize recruiting using my passion for learning and innovation.

I am a tech-savvy, marketing-minded, and innovative talent acquisition expert with over 20 years of recruiting experience in a trustworthy and transparent way. My sweet spot is technical recruiting, but I also greatly enjoy recruiting for finance & accounting, sales, and marketing professionals. I dream of one day being the first in-house recruiter for a remote-first startup and being able to create a truly great talent acquisition function with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and belonging (DEIB).
