My first computer was a Timex Sinclair 1000 with the membrane keyboard hooked to a 13 inch black and white TV and a Radio Shack cassette player for storage. The TS had a whopping 2k of built in memory. I remember spending half a day typing in a Basic program from some magazine only to find out I didn't have enough memory to hold the program.
