Currently working as QA Engineer for a Software Development firm in the Portland Or area.

My software background is primarily as a Performance Tester (SDET and STE) on the Microsoft stack, working for Microsoft.

I ran file, networking, and IIS benchmarks for the Windows NT Server Performance team in the NT 3.5 to Windows 2000 time frame (NTFS, FAT TCP/IP, NetBios, IIS, ASP, IPX/SPX) went on to ASP.Net where I was the first Performance Tester (prototype through the first release ASP.Net V1 PDC). Went back to Windows to test the Windows Internet Media Services for the Windows Media Player released with WinXP. Also perf and capacity tested the Entertainment Verticals at MSN (all tiers) for about 4 years before leaving Microsoft to take some time off.

Have since been doing primarily contracts and odd testing gigs. I enjoy playing with Linux and coding for fun in my spare time.
