As an engineer, I have a strong interest in the tech industry and especially anything dealing with software and consumer electronics. On most days, you'll find me reading tech blogs like Engadget or Gizmodo. I also spend a substantial amount of my personal time learning new programming languages that strike my fancy.

Currently I am a Systems Engineer working on software design and testing projects. Highlights of my professional experience include the following:

Professional Experience: I have over two and half years of experience in system design and software testing for a leading defense company.

• Avionics Software Testing: The software I test is the primary interface to the pilot and is critical in operating and maintaining the aircraft. I work with developers and various engineers on a regular basis to ensure that our software meets demanding specifications.
• System Design: Using systems engineering principals, I have led projects from the product concept down to the testing and verification of product releases.

Innovation: While in my current position I have worked to create an efficient work environment for my team. I was able to accomplish this by instituting new tools and conventions that accelerate the team’s workflow. Such innovations include automated peer review aids, requirements management tools, and an automated testing framework.

Developer Experience: Through the development of team tools, I have gained experience in C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. In addition to programming experience, I have first hand experience with the software design process including requirements development, construction, and testing.
