My name is Alex, I'm currently enrolled at Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) for website development with Java and JSP. Before that I taught myself a lot of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and some Java/JSP as well. Though I found that I wanted more and that a college degree would prooooobably look better as well!

I've self taught myself everything I know about PHP, and have yet to really ask anyone for help. I suppose that's why I joined here, to finally find out if some things I'm doing are "correct" or not. "Correct" being based on opinion in some cases though, I suppose.
