My name is Philipp Burckhardt, born in Berlin, shortly after the fall of the wall. I am the co-creator of stdlib-js, a library for numerical and scientific computation with JavaScript and Node.js, comprised of ~3,000 packages with hundreds of thousands downloads per month and 2.8k stars on GitHub, and creator and lead developer of ISLE, a data science e-learning platform used by thousands of students at various universities and in executive education for companies.

In 2019, I completed my PhD at the Department of Statistics & Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University. I also hold a MPhil in Public Policy and Management from CMU, an MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford, and a BSc in Economics from Humboldt-University.
