I started my career as a web designer and graphic artist in 1997. In 2007, I taught myself PHP and MySQL to start developing dynamic websites and have since been heavily involved in website and application development.

My very first database-driven website served up workout videos, a blog and forum, and profile pages for personal trainers who wanted to advertise their services on our site.

I enjoy being able to design the front end graphic components as well as the back end coding of a website, switching between right brain and left brain function at will.

I am currently learning Java programming.
