Hi, I’m Jan. A proud college dropout! I do Interaction Design, Web Design and Motion Graphics for a living here in the famous Philippine Islands. Been in the field for almost 5 years now and currently working as a Senior UX / UI Designer and System Consultant at ThousandMinds.

I’m into minimalism and subtlety more than impressive aesthetics because I find minimal designs more appealing, going for the ‘less is more”. I strongly focus on UI/UX and typography treatments over visual appeal, but still depends on project briefs and purposes of course.

I spend my free time reading materials about current trends and updates about web design specially UI/UX articles, doing doodles and illustration, playing games, guitar or my drumkit, writing and sharing things about my faith or doing reviews of games, apps and creating visual tutorials. I’m also into things related to startups, innovative startups to be exact because it inspires me to keep progressing in my career.
