I taught myself how to program in the early 80's on a TI 99/4A. The OS was BASIC and I had 4K of ram. My monitor was my TV and my back device was a leaderless cassette tape.

All the changes since then!

My first official position as a programmer/analyst was in 1995. I've seen web development go through some amazing changes. My HTML editor was Notepad. Windows Servers didn't have a way to collect form information until a process called Win-CGI was developed. I can't recall the name of the gentleman who wrote that.

Java and Javascript both came out shortly after. My first dive into OOP.

My primarily skills and experience are in case management systems using VB .Net and SQL Server. I've worked in banking, medical, and criminal justice building desktop and web apps as well as web services for inter-agency data exchanges.
