I am a master student in Geology and use GIS to aid in my research and work. I am familiar with Mapinfo and Discover and for the past two years I have moved to open source GIS as my main tools. I work with GRASS and QGIS.

Currently I am focused on learning how to handle satellite imagery with open source software. This includes mosaicing, pan sharpening and tiling into user friendly parts.
