I am a PhD candidate working on x265 open source version of H.265/HEVC video compression standard with focus on Group of Pictures (GOP), Motion Estimation & Camera activity classification, Multi-CODECs (VP9,AV1,SVT-AV1,SVT-VP9,VVC) complexity in a Optimization framework called DRASTIC (Dynamically Reconfigurable Architecture for Time-varying Imaging Constraints) developed in our lab ivPCL (Image and Video Processing and Communications Lab).
