I have had limited exposure to Excel in various roles, whilst a working knowledge has never been required in previous jobs I have found a certain enjoyment in being able to manipulate certain data...to some limited extent anyway.

I know all of the generic everyday basics for example Formulas, Vlookups, Lookups, Pivot Tables etc but I am keen to develop my Macro coding ability and the ability to develop more complex formulae as it is something I do quite enjoy the issue is it isn't necessarily encouraged in the jobs I hold so there is no dedicated training available so I plod along finding bits to improve and trying to find effective solutions.
