We have WCF P2P code working on XP and Win7. We cannot say the same for POSReady. We have installed PNRP (Networking components) and services appear to be installed and running.
netsh p2p pnrp cloud show list
returns no clouds.

In the end we ripped out P2P and rolled our own UDP discovery and used direct tcp links. Work like a charm. – Neil May 23 '12 at 09:51
