does anyone have plans to qualify halide extension to LLVM compiler, according to ISO 26262-8:2018 Clause 11?

Typical applications would be related to ADAS or AV.

I could not find any information on https://github.com/halide or on https://stackoverflow.com/search?q=halide or https://github.com/halide/Halide/ or any other place.

  • I don't think anyone has raised this before. One thing I will note, though: there is no Halide *extension* to LLVM – Halide works with the standard releases of LLVM. Does that help at all? – jrk Aug 31 '23 at 22:59
