Our TFS environment is on-premises. We are running TFS 2017, and have 32 agents running our Build and Release process spread between two XEON-based workstations.
I need to replace one of my XEON workstations, and am wondering about the hardware requirements for the replacement.
I thought I had read something online about using one core per Agent. Is this still the recommendation/requirement?
I have been given a 4-core XEON-based system to replace a 16-core XEON-based system. I am worried that this new system may be under-powered for what I am trying to do.
